On the female side with thread, there is a washer ring inside and on the male side with snap on connector, there is another washer ring to stop water leaking.
Water leaking more or less is inevitable; replace the above washer rings if leaking becomes severe.
When screw on this adapter to the tap, make sure the black washer is still in place, or otherwise water leaks from the thread.
