General Information
Plastic strap - light duty use only and the cheapest solution, best for cartons, box, or cardboard, etc. It comes in small rolls, suitable for hand carry, and not for trolley or dispenser.
PET/PP strap - could be light duty or heavy duty. This material is featured with high tension break strength and flexibility. It can fit for many packaging purposes from light duty to heavy duty. The clip locks dead the tension, however, the strap extends under pressure and tension gets lost over time.
Metal strap - The strongest strap used for heavy duty jobs and the most expensive one. It is mostly for industrial use and it is very heavy to handle. Metal straps need a completely different tensioner and sealer than the other types. The clip locks dead the tension, which can last for a long time before the bundle gets loose.
PE strap - Highly flexible, soft and super heavy duty. It only needs clip and tensioner to finish a job and the clamp / sealer is not required. Easy and convenient industrial solution as the strap is light and less tool is used. But tension can get loosened over time.
Note: the strap, clip and the tool or tool set must all make a perfect match in order to work or to achieve the highest performance.
